He is a pilot and she is a flight attendant. They met at work and had been together for 9 years.

With friends and family from various countries, they wanted to have a Destination Wedding in a special place, where their guests could enjoy a trip before or after the wedding.

They decided on Chile, because it is a beautiful country that offers many tourist options, and also, because Celine is the daughter of a Chilean with a French woman.

The wedding took place at the house of her father, who lives in Linares, in southern Chile.

70 people were present who came from different parts of the world to honor the couple. The ceremony was celebrated symbolically by the groom’s “best man”. They signed their vows as a sign of their love.

Then, the couple did a beautiful photo shoot with the light of the sunset in the fields around the house, while the guests enjoyed a cocktail in the gardens.

Celine wanted a rustic decor, to match the place. She took care of some details herself, inspired by photos from Pinterest. Steve insisted on quality cuisine and a lot of Chilean wine. And both wanted a super lively dance floor and were very dedicated to the choice of songs.

At the request of the bride and groom, we organized a dinner with typical Chilean food. We also had a presentation of a traditional dance from Chile, called “cueca”.

It was an intimate and very happy wedding. All the guests were very happy to be part of a special wedding, in an unusual place, to taste and get to know a little of the Chilean culture and to have the possibility to enjoy several days of celebration.

The celebration started on Friday, with a Welcome Cocktail at the hotel pool where everyone was staying. Saturday was the wedding day. And on Sunday, a relaxed lunch with all the guests, with lots of wine, empanadas and lamb “al palo”, a typical Chilean barbecue.
